That's why most residential building work in Queensland valued at more than $3,300 (including materials, labour and GST) must have insurance through the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.

The Queensland Home Warranty Scheme is not-for-profit and is funded through premium payments.

The QBCC administers the scheme according to the terms and conditions set by state government legislation.
