Queensland Home Warranty Scheme
We recognise that your house is likely to be one of your biggest assets. If you're building a new home or renovating an existing one you want to make sure you're covered if things go wrong with the project.
That's why most residential building work in Queensland valued at more than $3,300 (including materials, labour and GST) must have insurance through the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.
The Queensland Home Warranty Scheme is not-for-profit and is funded through premium payments.
The QBCC administers the scheme according to the terms and conditions set by state government legislation.
