Starting in June 2025, these changes aim to provide clearer, more relevant information by updating the way QHWS policy documents are delivered.

Key improvements

Home owners will now receive all important policy information in one email, making it easier to keep everything in one place.

Previously, home owners received their policy document and tax invoice separately, and the Product Disclosure document was only accessible via a link. Our upgraded systems allow us to include several attachments in one email, making it easier to keep everything in one place.

Emails and cover letters will also include tailored content, meaning QBCC licensees and Queensland home owners will only receive information relevant to them. This change enhances clarity and reduces confusion.

Finally, our Notice of Cover has been given a fresh redesign to enhance readability.

What to expect

For QBCC licensees:

You will receive one email containing:

  • cover letter with relevant information for licensees
  • Notice of Cover.

For Queensland home owners:

You will receive one email containing:

  • cover letter with important information for home owners
  • Notice of Cover
  • tax invoice
  • QHWS snapshot (a one-page summary of the QHWS and key details)
  • Product Disclosure document.

These enhancements are part of our commitment to improving your experience with the QBCC. All QHWS documents are now easier to access, read, and manage.
